Dr. Young offers comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessment services for adolescents and adults. Psychodiagnostic assessment services are typically utilized to answer specific referral questions, provide diagnostic clarification regarding psychological disorders, or serve as formal documentation of psychological diagnoses and relevant clinical recommendations.
Psychodiagnostic assessment involves a series of one-on-one meetings with Dr. Young. During these one-on-one meetings, you will work with Dr. Young to complete a sophisticated and comprehensive assessment process, including a background interview, structured clinical interview(s), and self-report (i.e., psychometric) measures. Your assessment battery will be individualized to address the referral question and your unique needs. Additionally, Dr. Young will review any provided records and will consult with other relevant parties/providers upon your request and with your written consent.
The psychodiagnostic assessment process will result in a full comprehensive report. This written report will likely be between 7 to 10 pages in length and will conclude with a concise summary of all data collected, a diagnostic profile, and specific clinical recommendations. Dr. Young will then schedule one final meeting with you, during which he will review the content of the report in as much detail as you might wish and ensure that any questions or concerns that you have are fully addressed.
Psychodiagnostic assessment services are available via telehealth.
