Maryland OCD & Anxiety Therapy (M.O.A.T.) is proud to offer services via HIPAA-compliant online video chat. Our clinicians have years of experience providing services through this medium. In addition to convenience, telehealth can offer the additional benefit of allowing therapy to more easily take place in therapeutically relevant environments, such as the home.
Most health insurance providers reimburse clients for telehealth sessions at the same rate as in-person sessions. Check with your health insurance provider to confirm and to ask about how to submit for reimbursement, as M.O.A.T. does not directly participate with health insurance.
M.O.A.T. also offers in-person services. Depending upon scheduling availability, clients may choose between telehealth, in-person services, or blending the two options.
In addition to providing telehealth services to clients in Maryland, M.O.A.T. clinicians are authorized through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to provide telehealth therapy to clients in Virginia, Washington D.C., and most other states. To find out if M.O.A.T. can provide telehealth services to you, check this map to see if your state participates in PSYPACT.
