Gracie Kelly, M.A.

Hi there! I am a fourth year graduate student working towards my PhD in clinical psychology at George Mason University. I am dedicated to using evidence based treatments to support folks in achieving their goals and overcoming challenges great and small. I am so fortunate to put this passion into practice as a clinical extern at MOAT!

Before beginning graduate school, I gained clinical and research experience working with individuals facing challenges with both physical and mental health. In my graduate training, I’ve had the opportunity to support clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, and ADHD. I have also gained clinical experience supporting individuals navigating chronic pain and other ongoing medical conditions. I find my work as a clinician incredibly rewarding, and I am continually inspired by my clients.

The therapeutic alliance is of the utmost importance to me. I strive to meet each client with transparency and authenticity, empowering each individual to take an active role in their own recovery within a safe and supportive environment. While all clients will receive evidence based treatment grounded in scientific theory and research, no two treatment courses will look exactly the same. Your therapy will be tailored to your unique needs and goals.

In my free time, I enjoy music (making it, consuming it, and generally nerding out about it), film photography, baking, and language learning. I can also frequently be found walking my dog, playing video games, and cheering on DC sports teams.

I work under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Young and am able to work with clients located in Maryland and Virginia.
